Sports Person of the Year 2011: Maja Włoszczowska among the best eight

Although Maja Włoszczowska (CCC Polkowice) did not reach the semi-finals of the poll for the Sports Person of the Year 2011 of Onet and Radio ZET, but being among the best eight Polish sports people is a great distinction. It was the fans themselves who voted! Many thanks for them!

The opponent for our Maja was in the quarterfinals the volleyball player Bartosz Kurek. His rival in fighting for the great finals will be Agnieszka Radwańska.

Over 32 thousand Internet users voted for the representative of Poland in volleyball. Maja received over 25 thousand votes.
On behalf of our rider we wish to thank all the fans for their support, because when Maja defeated Krzysztof Hołowczyc in the 1/8-finals of the poll, she collected over 18 thousand votes. This time there were much more votes!
